Baltic bottoms in the photic zone with at least 90 % coverage of rock, boulders or stones of more than 63 mm in diameter.

Physical environment

Salinity range: all; Exposure range: more common in exposed areas; Depth range: photic zone ‑ more common in the shallow.

Characteristic species

Attached algae and animals.

Mapping advise (habitat delineation, identification, similar types)

Areas with at least 90 % coverage of rock, boulders and/or stones of more than 63 mm in diameter within the photic zone.
