Updates 2005

HELCOM MONAS 8/2005 approved the amendments proposed by:

1. HELCOM/ICES Steering Group on Quality Assurance of Biological Measurements in the Baltic Sea at the 2005 meeting as follows:

• Part C, Annex C-4 Phytoplankton chlorophyll a

Analytical quality assurrance

The old text in square brackets has been replaced with: The general aspects of quality assurrance for chlorophyll a are covered under Part B, B.5.3.1.

Data reporting

The old text in square brackets has been replaced with: For data reporting ICES environmental data reporting format should be used.

2. HELCOM/ICES Steering Group on Quality Assurance of Chemical Measurements in the Baltic Sea at the 2005 meeting as follows:

• New Annex B-12, appendices 1-4 have replaced the old appendices 1 and 3. The old appendix 2 (mercury) have been renumbered to appendix 5.
• New appendix 1 has been added to Annex B-4 "Technical note on the determination of measurement uncertainty" .
