PURE project on urban reduction of eutrophication celebrated results
The Final Conference of the Project on Urban Reduction of Eutrophication (PURE) was held in Gdansk, Poland 16.-18.10.2012.

Oil risk analysis results will soon be out in a BRISK/BRISK-RU Project booklet
The extensive risk analysis materials will be prepared into a "popular format", to ensure easier access to the results of BRISK/BRISK-RU. The recent project aimed at increasing the preparedness of all Baltic Sea countries to respond to major spills of oil and hazardous substances from shipping.

Baltic Impulse Cluster launching soon its pages under HELCOM website
Baltic Impulse is a cluster of nine environmental projects running until September 2013. Baltic Impulse ensures further use of outcomes of the projects and increase their visibility, and it also intensifies exchange of experiences and ideas for further cooperation through.
The overall themes have two parallel lines:

A. reducing nutrient pollution; prevention of phosphorus and nitrogen leaching, phosphorus recycling
B. environmentally sound management of hazardous substances.
