Media tour of the HELCOM BALEX DELTA exercise area

Helsinki, 10 August (HELCOM Information Service) – The Lithuanian Navy will host a media tour of the BALEX DELTA 2010 exercise area off Klaipeda on Tuesday, 24th of August onboard an observer vessel.

The tour (10:00 - 14:00) will be followed by a press conference (18:00) in the Lithuanian Navy HQ, Naujoji uosto 24. Media Representatives will be picked up by a bus at 09:00 at the hotel “Navalis” (H. Manto 23, Klaipeda).

To participate in the event, representatives of the media must apply for accreditation by sending a fax to Mr. Antanas Brencius, PR Officer of the Lithuanian Naval Force, +370 46 391209 and e-mailing a copy to antanas.brencius@mil.lt . When applying for accreditation, please provide the following details: first name, last name, media affiliation, country, job title, passport No. and date of issue & expiry, type of equipment, e-mail, mobile phone number and the editorial office phone number.  

The deadline for accreditation is 18th August.
